Michael Freeman

CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Michael is Chief Marketing Officer where he brings over 20 years of experience to oversee the marketing and sales development teams. Prior to Certent, he spent a number of years with Adaptive Insights, acquired by Workday in 2018, where he led digital, demand generation, and marketing operations. Before Workday, he led demand generation teams to drive growth at start-ups and public companies such as Highfive (acquired by Dialpad) and ShoreTel (acquired by Mitel), as well as spent multiple years in Barcelona, Spain, as a Marketing Director with Mecalux, a multi-national leader in warehousing infrastructure and equipment. Earlier in his career, Michael has held roles of increasing responsibility with companies such as Teleflora, The Walt Disney Company, and Maersk.

Michael has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson school and a BA in Communication Studies from UCLA. He lives in San Luis Obispo, CA, with his wife and his sons.
