Certent Summit 2017 wrapped up today in Nashville with record attendance from clients, partners, sponsors, and guests including an appearance from Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks. Located two blocks from Broadway’s Honky Tonks and across the street from the birthplace of Bluegrass, attendees were treated to a full program of product training, one-on-one consulting sessions, hot topic breakouts and plenty of CEP and CPE credits to keep current on the latest in equity management.
For 2017, Certent offered a full agenda with a focus on the New Experience – a significant refresh to the interface of the Equity Management platform. The opening keynote sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch was from bestselling author, former Fortune 500 Executive and former stand-up Comedian Garrison Wynn. Garrison delivered a unique blend of wisdom and witty humor about the traits that all successful people hold.
The opening reception sponsored by StockCross featured a country bluegrass duo, Moonshine Mules, Nashville native delicacies such as hot chicken and Memphis BBQ, plus the chance for attendees to ride a mechanical bull.
Client Appreciation night sponsored by TD Ameritrade was at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Guests walked the red carpet before being greeted with champagne and a guitar duo at the door. A private tour of the museum was followed by dinner, drinks, and dancing late into the evening.
Other notable moments included Nashville’s professional hockey team, the Predators, winning the Western Conference Championship and their first birth in the Stanley Cup Finals. Tens of thousands of cheering fans flooded Broadway and we couldn’t help but get caught up in the fun!
Capping off the Summit was a charity event sponsored by Charles Schwab. Working alongside Rise Against Hunger, clients, partners and Certent employees prepared 22,000 meals for food insecure communities in the United States and abroad. The location for the 2018 summit was also revealed. Certent heads to San Diego’s most premier property – the Hotel Del Coronado – next May!
