By Marisa Ruffles. We are excited to announce the details of our 5th annual user conference, the 2016 Certent Summit. This year’s event will be held at the Hotel Nikko in downtown San Francisco. Our clients can expect a large array of educational and hands-on sessions packed with CPE and CEP credit opportunities to help them connect, collaborate and learn. Clients will also have the opportunity to connect with our staff through one-on-one consultations and collaborate with peers in interactive discussions.
Attendees will hear from keynote speaker Geoff Colvin. Colvin is a longtime editor and columnist for FORTUNE and commentator on leadership, globalization, wealth creation, the infotech revolution, and related issues. As a speaker, he has engaged hundreds of audiences on six continents. Colvin is the regular lead moderator of the Fortune Global Forum and is heard daily on the CBS Radio Network, where he has made over 10,000 broadcasts and reaches seven million listeners each week. Colvin has appeared on Today, The O’Reilly Factor, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, ABC’s World News, CNN, CNBC, PBS’s Nightly Business Report, and dozens of other programs.
In his keynote, Talent is Overrated – Real Truths of Great Performance, Colvin will explore how world-class performance doesn’t come from mysterious natural gifts, but rather from very specific behaviors that every organization can adopt. He will discuss his theory that people and organizations that learn from these principles gain a tremendous advantage.
“We are thrilled to host clients in the Bay Area for the 2016 Certent Summit. As always, the conference is a chance for our clients and partners to connect and learn together through interactive sessions and networking activities,” said Leslie Leach, chief marketing officer at Certent. “Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore historic San Francisco including a private tour of Alcatraz Island.”
